The Organic Living Package begins at AmaTierra. Relax and renew your energy during your first 3 nights here, nestled on 8 luscious acres in the Costa Rican mountains, 1 hour west of the capital city of San Jose and 1 hour north of the Central Pacific Beaches. Offering yoga for all levels, massage and body treatments, herbal and nutritional counseling from AHG Herbalist and owner Jill Ruttenberg, and (edible!) lessons in the organic greenhouse.

A Retreat for the Whole Person. AmaTierra's goal is to create a sanctuary, an escape from the rigors of daily life and a place to truly rejuvenate in a beautiful rainforest setting. Wellness therapies, healthy food shared with others on the balcony incorporating produce from our organic garden, and a cared for and carefree atmosphere allow our guests to leave here with renewed energy and a glimpse of traditional Costa Rican culture.

In your stay at Luna Nueva you will stroll on our cultural tours, where our eco-guides will reveal the secrets of an organic-biodynamic herbal estate that preserves natural resources. From the first moment that you arrive, the overwhelming beauty of Costa Rican organic living surrounds and refreshes your senses.

We will welcome you to jump into our natural spring-fed ozonated swimming pool and relax in our solar heated hot-tub Jacuzzi. The meals are included in your stay and consist of organic fruits, meat, dairy, and vegetables freshly produced on our farm.

Included in your stay Luna Nueva, is the famous Arenal Volcano Tour. On this tour you will hike to the base of the Volcano, where you will wait for the sun to set at an observation point. You will be transported to a natural hot springs, where you will enjoy a delicious Costa Rican dinner.
